Take Pennsylvania’s and possibly the world’s – largest hamburger challenges right here at Denny’s Beer Barrel Pub!
Featured on multiple national television networks, including The Food Network, and the Travel Channel, along with numerous talk shows like Good Morning America and The Rachel Ray Show.
(All Burger Challenges are Market Price.)
ANY ADDITIONAL SIZE BURGERS, YOU MUST CHECK FOR AVAILABILITY.
We will not cook anything to an internal temperature under 160 degrees. No rare or medium rare.
Consumer Advisory: Consuming undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.
THE BURGER CHALLENGE RULES:
1. A three day Advance notice is required for burger challenges.
2. Choose your size burger.
3. The pickle slices on the top of the burger indicate the size of your challenge, i.e.: 2 pickle slices is a 2 lb challenge, 6 pickle slices is a 6 lb challenge, etc.
4. You can drink whatever you want and as much as you want.
5. Each challenge has a time limit as indicated in the menu.
6. Burger challenges come on a white bread bun only.
7. Each burger challenge will include the following toppings:
Lettuce
Tomatoes
Yellow Onions
American Cheese
Ketchup
Yellow Mustard
Sweet Relish
Mayonnaise
Banana Peppers
(You may remove one topping above and the chef will double up on another topping listed above.)
8. No silverware permitted for the challenge.
9. The plate must be completely free of all food at the end your challenge.
THE PUB CHALLENGER
Two full pounds of beef run through the garden. If you eat ALL the challenge in one hour, you will receive a Denny’s Beer Barrel T-Shirt, a completion certificate, and you’re put in the Hall of Face!

Our three pound baby boy! That’s right, three full pounds of ground beef, with the works.
90 minute time limit. If you eat it, we buy it! Plus you’ll receive a Denny’s Beer Barrel T-Shirt, a completion certificate and your put in the Hall of Fame!
